process?
Why Use Career
Portfolios?
How do these products work together?
All
instructional materials have been written for the end user. The
Family Guide to the American Workplace,Creating Your Career Portfolio
Practical Exercises, Creating Your Career Portfolio - At-a-Glance
Guide for Students, and the Career Portfolio Kit were developed for the
client. All products are woven together through the design
of activities and the detailed step-by-step instructions.
With
a minimum order, an instructor’s manual and team in-service is provided.
Our instructor’s manual serves as the core of the standardized instruction.
Supplemental activities may be added but may not replace the core of
instruction. In the event you have a weak reader, you may complete this
module by focusing extra time on the discussion questions and activities
which overall correspond and reinforce the learning objectives for each
activity and module. It is suggested that Module 1 be completed first,
after that you may take the referred modules in any order you choose.
Each module is designed to stand alone but may be dependent upon Module
1.
Instructor’s
Manual—This instructor’s
manual has been developed to assist the provider in reaching the client/learner. Guidelines for where the
learner can read alone, discussion questions and activities, as
well as goal-setting exercises and references, are all detailed
under each
individual module. A special feature of the instructor’s manual and
website is the fully developed outcome assessment tools which have
been standardized and organized into assessment documents for use
in client files.
Support
website—www.careerswithpromise.com In an effort to support the provider
and trainer, a portion of this website is set aside for the use
of program members. This members-only
area contains program resources, links to additional information
and resources, a Q&A forum, and serve as an ongoing forum for
instructional development.
