Suggested Training Curriculum

The program takes a “holistic” approach for workforce preparation. It integrates job readiness and life skills to ensure the individual is successful- both at home and in the workplace. The first 5 modules primarily address Job Readiness; the final 6 modules involve auditing and development of Life Skills.   The creation of an individual Career Portfolio is the “take away” that stays with the individual throughout their lifetime.

The suggested curriculum for the program follows in the table below. The curriculum is built around the development of individual work and life skills simultaneously. This curriculum was designed to integrate work and life skills because they are fully transferable. Skills learned at home can be transferred to the workplace, and visa versa.
