About Dr Anna

Anna Graf Williams, PhD.

Dr. Anna grew up in rural Illinois, was a 4-Her, is a farmer’s daughter, graduated with 4 degrees before she was 27 and went on to be a full professor by age 33. Over 20 years ago she founded Learnovation ®, LLC with the purpose of bridging the gap between education and industry. She authors Creating Your Career Portfolio at-a-glance Guide for Students now in 4th edition and having sold over 900,000 copies to date. Dr. Williams advises agencies working with dis-engaged youth, work force development, re-entry, and economic development leaders. She leads the research team at Learnovation ®, LLC where the focus is on how people learn in courses & the workplace, and career engagement.

Dr. Anna’s personal specialty is in the Department of Labor’s O*Net system and metrics. With a belief in career portfolios long before they were cool and the unique understanding of “minimum viable education”, work experience and transferable skills, her expertise in measuring behavior and outcomes assessment is in demand by educators, industry leaders and work force development across the United States. Dr. Anna Graf Williams embraces systems: human; management; and economic. She shares she grew up on Sesame Street…learning to sort, organize and ask questions.
