Job Interview
- explain a breif summary of your career portfolio right at the beginning of the interview, that way the interview can decide if they want to know or see more.
- Keep the explaination brief, but make sure to note there are tangible samples of your work.
Performance Review and Promotion Requests
- Most review and promotion decisions are made before the discussion even happens
- It is very important to present your career portfolio to your supervisor before the day of the actual meeting.
- Be sure to give your supervisor enough time to thoroughly review your work samples and information. It benefits you to provide the career portfolio 1-2 weeks in advance.
